Susan Lehmann

For more than 15 years, I have been passionately leading complex projects in both national and international environments within the defence industry. South Africa became my second home during the two years I lived there as an expat, where I immersed myself in the local culture and built lasting relationships with its people.

As a volunteer for the German Project Management Association (GPM), I am committed to advancing the profession and helping shape what project management will look like in 2035. Through knowledge sharing, community engagement, and thought leadership, I strive to inspire project professionals to embrace modern practices, continuous learning, and innovation.

Alongside my professional career, I have been completing an intensive professional speaker development programme at the German Speakers Association (GSA) over the past nine months. This experience has further strengthened my expertise in leadership communication, public speaking, and engaging audiences with ideas that create lasting impact.
