Bio:

Julia Terrapon-Pfaff, Ph.D., is the Co-Head of the research unit International Energy Transitions at the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy. My primary research areas are renewable energy strategies and the development of a green hydrogen economy in developing and emerging countries. I have experience in the fields of impact evaluation, decision analysis as well as expertise in gender and development topics. Building on the foundations of traditional scientific work I am passionate about exploring novel research topics that have high relevance for decision makers in the context of the sustainable energy transition.
