Passionate about the Intersection of Law and Technology. I love talking nerdy about software code, data flows and data protection! I am used to breaking this topics down from the legal background for companies to implement and understand.
"Competition only happens at the bottom. Collaboration is what brings you to the top.” This mantra encapsulates the philosophy that guides me in my professional life.
My story began with a passion for film and a dream of becoming a director. However, during an internship, I discovered a deeper desire to pursue a path where my tech-savvy nature, structured thinking, and highly organized skill set could shine. This realization led me to study law, with a specialization in media and intellectual property law, allowing me to blend my passions while staying connected to the creative world.
I find joy in sharing my enthusiasm for Intellectual Property and IT Law—especially my affinity for data protection law.
My approach to law is marked by a genuine love for technology and a practical mindset. As I am practicing with a strong focus on start-ups, I am very familiar with simplifying legal concepts.
I began my academic journey at the Georg-August-University Göttingen, where I earned my law degree with a focus on private and public media law. My specialization papers tackled important topics such as "Data protection on instant messenger services" and "Text and data mining." I furthered my education by obtaining a Master of Laws (LLM) in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Aberdeen, UK.
Throughout my career, I have developed a strong foundation in various areas of law, including trademark, patent, copyright, IT law, and media law.
