Bio:

Maja-Lee Voigt (she/her) is an urban scholar and research associate for the Chair “Methods of Urban Practice” at HafenCity University Hamburg. From 2021 until 2025 she was part of the research project “Automating the Logistical City” at Leuphana University Lüneburg, where she still pursues her Ph.D. Assisted by a methodological toolbox of ethnographic and critical feminist thinking, she is currently researching Amazon’s monopoly on bits, bytes, and boxes. Additionally, Maja-Lee is a co-founder of the interdisciplinary city research collective < i >Akteurinnen für urbanen Ungehorsam< /i > in Hamburg, and curator of the international FLINTA-collective < i >DiskursDisco< /i >. Overall, Maja-Lee’s work focuses on the automation of logistical cities, tackling questions about (resisting) algorithmic architectures of oppression, and hacking patriarchy towards more just urban futures.
