I design participatory processes, strengthen communities, and advocate for a socio-ecological transformation of both urban and rural areas. I'm especially interested in how we can develop rural regions in a future-oriented and community-focused way – for example by activating vacant spaces, supporting social enterprises, or creating community hubs.
Currently, I'm working as a networker and project lead at the Netzwerk Zukunftsorte, which promotes innovative and sustainable places in rural areas. Previously, I developed the Kiezlabor at CityLAB Berlin and contributed to the participatory digital strategy "Gemeinsam Digital: Berlin." I also have several years of experience as a municipal consultant, focusing on digital transformation, smart cities, sustainability strategies, and new work.
I’m available as a moderator and facilitator for events, workshops, and panel discussions – especially on topics such as participation, collaborative urban and regional development, community-based real estate, and rural transformation.

In times of multiple crises, a lot of citizens feel disconnected and increasingly mistrust institutions. With our mobile lab, Kiezlabor, we explore how inhabitants, administration and civil society actors can engage in shaping the neighbourhoods and communities they desire.

Initiativen wie Kiezblocks, Begrünungen und kreative Stadtentwicklungsprojekte bringen neue Zukunftsbilder in die Köpfe der Stadtbewohner:innen. In dieser Session stellen Stadtmacher:innen inspirierende Projekte vor, diskutieren ihre Methoden und überlegen, wie solche agilen Ansätze in der Stadtentwicklung verstärkt umgesetzt werden können.

Weltweit sind Städte für circa 70% der globalen CO2-Emissionen verantwortlich. Gleichzeitig sind ihre Bewohner:innen stark von den Auswirkungen der Klimakrise betroffen. Sie sind angewiesen auf kühlendes Grün, saubere Luft und sichere Mobilität. Viele Kommunen sind daher auf dem Weg, die Transformation hin zu einer nachhaltigen Stadt aktiv zu gestalten. Die Städte der Zukunft sollen klimaneutral, lebenswert und gesund sein. Es gibt bereits viele Ansätze, um diesen Wandel strategisch zu steuern und zu messen. Die Ziele für nachhaltige Entwicklung der Vereinten Nationen (SDGs), lokale Nachhaltigkeits- und Smart City-Strategien oder die Donut Economy sind Beispiele, welche Städte sich zu eigen machen. Wie können Städte tatsächlich messbar nachhaltig werden? Wie können oft noch theoretische Ansätze in der Praxis die strategische Steuerung unterstützen?
