Bio:

University Professor of Physics from the Vienna University of Technology. Lived and worked from 2008 until 2015 in Malaysia, South East Asia. Working on positive technologies that do not harm people or the environment, but are good for them. These new ways of engineering that her work comprises are in many cases inspired by living nature. She is highly active in Science Outreach, and her work is widely featured in the media (TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, etc.). She is a great speaker, and had done 40 radio broadcasts, 80 Plenary Addresses, Keynote Presentations and Invited Lectures around the world (Europe, Asia, The Americas, Oceania).
