Bio:

I am an organisational consultant and coach with around 20 years of experience in the digital space. My career began in the online media industry and led me through software development in start-ups to the international technology consultancy ThoughtWorks, where I worked as a senior consultant and tech lead. Today, I support growing companies, especially start-ups and young companies, in creating structures in which teams take responsibility, leadership becomes effective and collaboration flows smoothly. I combine technical understanding with a systemic view of organisation and team dynamics.Key topics:
- Leadership in growing organisations
- Team development & self-organisation
- Organisational design & team design
- Agile & team topologies
- Mediation & conflict resolution
- Coaching for founders and executives

In this talk, we'll share our hands-on experience applying Architecture for Flow (combining Wardley Mapping, DDD, and Team Topologies) to transform a growing software organization. Pirate Ship, a growing tech company, faced common scaling challenges: teams growing too large, unclear ownership of shared components, and dependencies blocking the flow. Working with development teams across multiple workshops and iterations, we established stream-aligned teams with well-defined ownership boundaries.
